I have just returned back to work today after being off with bronchitis for the past two days.  It was horrible.  My energy was drained.  I had to catch my breath with just walking up the stairs and my fever kept me miserable (just ask my wife).  And while I caught this round of bronchitis at The Refuge it did make me think about what the youth do when they are sick.With this past sickness, I stayed at home, slept a lot  and my wife took care of me.  I went to the doctor and they prescribed me some heavy-duty antibiotics that cost $70 for 20 pills.  However, consider Jessy who also had this sickness earlier last week.  Jessy has no home to which he can go and just 'lay low'.  No one will take care of him and nurture him.  He must come to The Refuge if he wants to eat for the day and he certainly cannot afford to pay $70 for medication.  And while I complain about how miserable I feel, I am a wimp when it comes to the youth here that seem to just 'plow through' their sicknesses without much attention.
