The Refuge is both grateful and honoured that Mrs. Harper as well as Senator and Mrs. Meredith attended last nights Annual Dinner fundraising event.  "The Refuge raised about $20,000 from the evening which is unprecedented for us!"  states Executive Director Clarence Keesman.  "We owe this to Mrs. Harper agreeing to be our guest speaker and to Senator and Mrs. Meredith"

Mrs. Harper also left a lasting impression on Sam, Eric, Jordan and Shawn, all guest sitting down with Mrs. Harper and the Merediths and all youth from The Refuge.

A special thanks to Dan Carter who did an amazing job as the Master of Ceremony and Chief Auctioneer, MP Colin Carrie, Kelly O'Brien and the other staff at the Oshawa Golf and Curling Club, and staff of The Refuge.
